Tell about one current event in the news you have read this week.
nationals 2009 first round pick phenom Stephen Strasburg may face tommyjohnsurjury on his arm. if this happens he could be out for the rest of the season and ticket sales will plume. the Nationals will have a press confrence friday to anounce if he will go under the knife.
Rookie pitcher Stephen Strasbug faced an arm injury in the 5th in Washigton. He will have Tommyjohn surgery. All the National fans are all in static shock.
The other day I saw on the news where a woman left her house while her two, three year old twins were inside...alone. Also, the woman also left food on the oven while the oven was on. When she came home she found that her house had smoke coming out of it so she rushed inside to get her "babies". She returned outside with one in her arms and handed it to her friend, then left, went back inside but she didnt make it to her childs room because she passed out of smoke inhalation. The woman, as well as her children, were pronounced dead at the hospital of smoke inhalation.

I have been seeing alot about the Little League World Series in the news this week. It is finally over with and Japan won it all being undefeated.
i heard on the news that the catagory 3 hurricane, earl is the second largest hurricane in the world.
