Each week, I will post questions, thoughts and links for you to read and make comments about. Each student can respond to a minimum of twice weekly. This can be counted as extra credit. Let me know if you have any questions about the current events blog. This can be done during our class time or you can work from home. As we explore many different aspects of reading, writing, and current events, I think you will enjoy reading a variety of articles.

Friday was a big win for MCHS!!
How will the Rebels do this week when they face Strom Thurmond? Are we going all the way in football this year? What do you think?

I think we definitley have the talent to go all the way but I dont know if they have the energy. They looked tired on Friday but I hope they"ll be pumped up this Friday.
We need to step up the passing game. If we dont the results will not be good for MCHS. Our quarterback for Strom Thurmond hasnt had as much experience and not as much playing time as our first one.
I think we will hopefully go all the way this year. I think we will do good if we keep working as a team. I think Strom Thurmond will be a close game but we will win.
I think that it will be a good game but they will have to step up their defince and their passing game. If they play their best and use their heads and make tackles they have a chance going all the way.
That was a rough game against Penndleton High School but a win is a win! They will have to be on the jump and be ready to beat Strom Thurmond. This will be a tough one but I think we can defeat the other Rebels!
I think MCHS played a good game because they never gave up in the game a scored and won the game! they just got to have confidence to go all the way and they will do it!
I believe that this will be a tough game for MC. However, if we bring our best game, we will be able to beat those Rebels! If MC brings their best game for the games to come, we can make it all the way to the championship!
We have only lost one game so far. Strom Thurmond has lost two games.There is a good chance we will win. This friday it will be rebels versus rebels. GO MC!!!!!!!! We can totally go all the way!
I think that this Friday will be a hard game for MC because of having to play such a strong team and having to have a tenth grade quarterback who hasnt started any games for the varsity.
