Each week, I will post questions, thoughts and links for you to read and make comments about. Each student can respond to a minimum of twice weekly. This can be counted as extra credit. Let me know if you have any questions about the current events blog. This can be done during our class time or you can work from home. As we explore many different aspects of reading, writing, and current events, I think you will enjoy reading a variety of articles.

Have you ever been to the Smithsonian before? It is going to feature a Gullah exhibit.
I have been to the Smithsonian on the Washington D.C. trip. There weren't very many interesting exhibits. In third grade we learned about the Gullah people. It is pretty interesting.
