Each week, I will post questions, thoughts and links for you to read and make comments about. Each student can respond to a minimum of twice weekly. This can be counted as extra credit. Let me know if you have any questions about the current events blog. This can be done during our class time or you can work from home. As we explore many different aspects of reading, writing, and current events, I think you will enjoy reading a variety of articles.

Christmas parades
Did you go to any of the Christmas parades? What was the best thing in the parade and why? Positive comments only, and please do not mention names.

I have been in the Prosperity Parade one time. It was so fun because I got to be in it. That was the best thing that happened in the parade.
I haven't been to any parades this year but last year the MCMS Chorus was in the Prosperity Christmas Parade! It was alot of fun singing for the people watching us!
Sunday, I went to the Prosperity Christmas Parade. Most of my family went to it also. My cousin was actually in it with the band. I helped my little sisters get candy. We had to park at the end because when we got there, it was just that crowded
I did not go to the Christmas parade this year but have been in the past. Parades are fun because you get to see your friends and see people in the parade.

I was in the Prosperity Parade this year. The parade route is really long and it was FREEZING! I like watching the parades and grabbing the candy.
