Each week, I will post questions, thoughts and links for you to read and make comments about. Each student can respond to a minimum of twice weekly. This can be counted as extra credit. Let me know if you have any questions about the current events blog. This can be done during our class time or you can work from home. I didn't watch the race, but I did hear about it in the news. I heard that during the third lap of the race, all the fans stood and held up three fingers to remember the guy who died in a nascar race 10 years ago. His car was number three.
Well good for him. He is very lucky that Dale Jr. crashed cause Dale Jr. would have won for sure. But still congrats on the win Trever Bayne. Happy Birthday

I could not believe that .jr crashed on one of the last laps.
OMG the daytona 500 in that intire race i cant belive that a rookie won the race i mean really.

That was probely the best birthday present a man could get by winning the firt Daytona 500 he was ever in. Congradulations to him for winning.
I did not see or hear about the race but i wish i could have seen the rookie when!
yea nascar is a cool sport people get blown up sometimes.
