Each week, I will post questions, thoughts and links for you to read and make comments about. Each student can respond to a minimum of twice weekly. This can be counted as extra credit. That is so sad!!! Although, I love it!!! I wish there were more stories in the newspaper like this! Also, that was very sweet of him to say,"Everytime I'm on the mat, I'm a step closer to him."
This is a really great story! It is really cool how his dad was a coach and now he is a wrestler. Even though his dad is not there to watch him he will always know that his dad lead him to love that sprot. My favorite quote that Bryant says is..."Everytime I'm on the mat, I'm a step closer to him." This is really sweet of him to say and think that!

I beat you that right now his dad is looking down on his son for heaven and thinking "wow I don't derisive a kid that is that great."
That is a great story but it is really sad. I dont know if i could go back on the mat after my dad died. I think its cute how he has his favorite pair of shoes.

Most people think that is just something you see in movies but this proves how much people can love one another. I like that he kept having people put those shoes on the mat when he wrestled. I wonder if he will become a coach for wrestling.

It made me want to cry. Those shoes are like, a huge part of his life...most people wouldn't think that much of a pair of old shoes.
