Each week, I will post questions, thoughts and links for you to read and make comments about. Each student can respond to a minimum of twice weekly. This can be counted as extra credit. Let me know if you have any questions about the current events blog. This can be done during our class time or you can work from home. As we explore many different aspects of reading, writing, and current events, I think you will enjoy reading a variety of articles.
I think that they shouldn't do that because the students would probably take it off and leave it in the classroom to make it look like they were in class. I think that they will probably skip class anyway!!:)
I don't think that the schools should do that because it's weird and creepy. I can kind of understand checking in during the day if they had to, but why would the people need to know where a student was at 8 pm?
I don't think they should do that becase some people could think of it as stalking. I also think it's wasting money when we could use it on other things, not seeing why people are skipping school.

You'd think the parents would go balistic over that. But no, they have to go on and let there kid get stalked. Aren't there a lot of people that start working for schools and end up robbing a kids house. No one should look at me like I am crazy cause it could happen.
It would be weird to have to enter your code at eight at night. It is kind of good though, because you could use it outside of school to find a missing kid.
Those people act like its some kind of day care. I would be highly offended, its like they are trying to call those kids a baby. They need a word from me it wont be pretty. Teachers like tracing down nice muscluar things like me.

That really weird it's like have someone staring at you 24 hours a day. I think this is really dum because if the student does not check in at that time they might send out a bunch of cops just to find were that one student is while a bunch of other students could have just do this as a joke. I don't see why they do this because if the student is skipping school and they have had chances to do what is right but they don't do what is right and their parents do not try to make them do what's right maybe they should have to pay the fine.

Thats kind of creepy and all they have to do is take it off to get away with skipping.

GPS used for tracking students? That is stupid and weird.
