Each week, I will post questions, thoughts and links for you to read and make comments about. Each student can respond to a minimum of twice weekly. This can be counted as extra credit. Let me know if you have any questions about the current events blog. This can be done during our class time or you can work from home. As we explore many different aspects of reading, writing, and current events, I think you will enjoy reading a variety of articles.

What do you think about coming to school for only four days a week next year?
That is a great idea but it would get confusing sometimes. Some teachers might have to stay at the school on the day we are out in the week to make sure nobody comes to school that day.
It would sorta of be good and bad at the same time. It would be good because you could go to school less days a week but if you only go four days a week you would have to go more weeks a year.So it would be a tough decision.
i think the school year is perfect the way it is bc if we only went 4 days a week the year would have to be longer. and we might have to go longer in a day. so i like skool the way it is :)
I think school's good the way it is because the day is already long. Anyway, what day would we have off?? If I chose, it would be friday so we can have a longer weekend!!;)
I think it would be better because we could have more weekend time, depending on the day that we get off. It would also cut down on drama, and people could go out of town faster. I think it would be awesome!!!
I think it would be worth it. We might have to go a longer time a day but it give us another day off. We could get a longer weekend. That is what I wanted ever since I started school.
It would cut out a good chunk of the drama. Plus it would give kids a lot more time to do what they want. I mean, school 5 days of the week? The four-day weeks would cut down on stress for the teachers and the students.
It would be tottaly awsome!! less school + Kids = happy kids! less absenses less problems plus kids need atleast 3 days off school its bad enough we have to go to school i think we deserve some good relaxation time.
I would love it and i think that it would make everyone like school better including the teachers! I also think it will help the abbsence proble and the drama problem! I would probley get better grades if school was only four days a week.

I think i might like it but i wouldn't want to go to school longer. We already go to 3:00 i think that is way to long already.

One day less is another day spent doing something fun so i'm so for it.
