Did you know a manatee was spotted at Myrtle Beach?
I think that the people should not be afraid if they see a manatee. They are not very scary animals, they are very gentle and nice animals. Ive been around them on my 5th grade field trip to flordia and they were just fine.
LEAVE IT ALONE! Just because its not native to this area doesn't mean you have to treat it like an alien. Manatees are docile sea creatures and we should be happy to have them close to us. :)
People should not be afraid of the manatee, they are "gentle giants" as we learned in 5th grade when we went and swam with them. People who are near them or spot one should leave them alone and try and not to hurt them, they are becoming less of them because of people hurting them. Mantees will not hurt you, just leave them alone!
Since mantees are indangered animals I think that people should be really careful if they see one. Also if you are in a boat and you spot one, you should stay away from it.

I think it would be cool to see a manatee so if i saw one i defentily would not report it because someone will harm it! Manatees are very nice and gentle animals so dont get scared if you see one.
yeah madison is right just leave them poor things alone.. i want to go swimming with them someday :) they seem sooo sweet :) i loVe animals except snakes,spiders,ants,small insects i have two beautiful puppies... one is a boy his name is BOB :) and he is a chihuahua and my other dog is a girl her name is tinkerbell and she is a yorkie poo ") TRUE STORY :)
