Each week, I will post questions, thoughts and links for you to read and make comments about. Each student can respond to a minimum of twice weekly. This can be counted as extra credit. Let me know if you have any questions about the current events blog. This can be done during our class time or you can work from home. As we explore many different aspects of reading, writing, and current events, I think you will enjoy reading a variety of articles.

Gas prices fall below three dollars, what do you think about that?
That would be GREAT if gs prices would fall below three dollars in our area so i could go on more vacations! I don't go on many vacations now because it costs so much for gas!:(
This is great. Now that gas is a little bit cheaper, we can afford a little more. This helps us travel more cheaply and it doesn't hurt our checkbooks as bad. It also means a little more money for us.

That would be AWESOME! Then I would get see my Mom more that would be cool! Then we would be able to travel more! My dad would just love that
