Each week, I will post questions, thoughts and links for you to read and make comments about. Each student can respond to a minimum of twice weekly. This can be counted as extra credit. They say that if you watch Spongebob for more than nine minutes your brain doesn't work as well afterwards. Personally, I think that's crap because if it's true I think almost everybody in my generation would be brain dead or mentally impaired.
Now I have a reason to be short on memory, thats why I seem to fail tests because I forget the answers, and Ill blame it on spongebob because I watched it before the day of the test so now I have a good reason to fail the test if I fail it!!!

I knew it!!! spongebob's stupidness rubs off on kids that's why they are like that. That stupid show is rotting kids brains. Luckily I saw that when i was 6 and then banned spongebob from my life.

watching sponge bob is great for your brain because you got smart patrick for a teacher and you have weird sponge bob. So it is bad for us to watch sponge bob.
I think that kids that are in middle school should be able to watch it beacuse i dont think that it rots there brains. I do think that if they are in fifth grade of younger they should not watch it beacuse they dont know any better and they might think all of that is true and its really not. There for I think it depends on your age if you should watch Sponge Bob square pants or not!

yes, i think watching spongebob is good for your brain because it could make you funny in the future, and he is just already awesome!!! im proud to say that i love spongebob, almost as much as i love patrick <3. they should have done a wider study on older kids, as well as the number of kids, this was a poor study to back up their idea
Spongebob is awesome and i have no idea why anybody would think he kills brain cells. Spongebob is very educational and he teaches you about how hard it is to pass your driving test:) Spongebob also shows you how to cook. Spongebob rocks!!!

It may not teach the children but it is hilerious to watch but the parents are the one that is supposed to teach the kid form right from wrong! Spongebob is AWESOME!!! Also Spongebob does teach the kids leasons!
i think spongebob can be a really good show for kids. But then again it can be really bad for your kids because they have slow ones where spongebob is acting like he dont know anything.

I think that really stinks for younger kids. Imagine coming up to your kids and saying "Hey kids good news no more TV!"
