Smoking orangutan is forced to kick his smoking habit!
I think it is wierd that Melaka Zoo Director Ahmad Azhar Mohammed said Shirley is not being provided with any more cigarettes because "smoking is not normal behavior for orangutans." Who is it normal for?
That is crazy! Why would these people throw her ciggreates any ways?? They must have gave her alot if she became addicted to it. But I'm suprised it didn't cause her to get sick!
I think that is kind of funny but bad. I mean seriously who in the world would give an orangutan a ciggarette. Poor shirly has given into peer preasure.
I think it's wrong for them to make her quit cold turkey...that's mean. How long has she been smoking? They need to get her some NRT (Nicotine Replacement Therapy)
I think it is wierd that an orangutan was smoking. There is no way smoking is good for this orangutan. It is great he kicked the habbit. Where would he get a cigarette anyway/

Well, at least that they got the cigarette away from her. If cigarettes aren't good for humans, it's certainly not good for Shirley.

I can't believe she started smoking in the first place.It's good that they are taking it from her.
