Each week, I will post questions, thoughts and links for you to read and make comments about. Each student can respond to a minimum of twice weekly. This can be counted as extra credit. Let me know if you have any questions about the current events blog. This can be done during our class time or you can work from home. As we explore many different aspects of reading, writing, and current events, I think you will enjoy reading a variety of articles.

MCHS marching band placed 4th in the state competition this Saturday. What a huge accomplishment!
Give the Rebel Regiment a shout out on their successes this school year!!
The band did so good saturday night. This is the best that we have been at state in years! For the past 2 years the band has came in 7th at state and 3rd at upperstate, but this year we came in 4th at state and 2nd at upperstate. I love my band family and im going to miss them all so much now that band is over. Im going to miss all the seniors too. I cant wait until next year to have a brand new band family to share all these great experinces with.

The band did a great job this year! I am so proud of all of you. Keep up the hard work.
