Each week, I will post questions, thoughts and links for you to read and make comments about. Each student can respond to a minimum of twice weekly. This can be counted as extra credit. Let me know if you have any questions about the current events blog. This can be done during our class time or you can work from home. As we explore many different aspects of reading, writing, and current events, I think you will enjoy reading a variety of articles.

The time after PASS Testing when Logan Folk and I were sending each other random things on our phones and he acted like he didnt even care!
When we were his 4th core class in 7th grade. Me, casey, jessica, and carlee would always sit in the back of his class on top of the table. We would always sit back there and talk and roll around on the table. Another memory is when we did the drop the meter stick experiment and everytime they dropped it i would get hit in the face. So mr.shook would make me wear goggles everytime we did an experiment, that way i didnt get hurt.
we would all crack jokes about ohio and the projects that we did in class, then there would be a real serious silent moment and everyone would start laughing!it was so funny:)
i remember in 6th grade we made that goop stuff out of like starch and water. we got it all over his tables and we would leave and make hime clean it all up! it was all over our clothes and we made a huge mess in the bathroom. and he would let us sit all over his tables when we watched videos, and he let me and charlie sit in the back under this desk thing where we just texted and talked a lot... he was so fun... I MISS YOU MR.SHOOK!!!!!!!!
I had him for enrichment the last three weeks of 7th grade. My group was writing a script, but apparently Mr. Shook wanted to play Mudball (or whatever it was called). We had fun in that class and we miss him very muches!!!!!!!!!!!
My favorite moment was in 6th grade when I started the name "Shaboogie" and the first time I said "Hey Shaboogie" and he said "Do you want to live to be able to be 13?" haha good times:p
My best memory of Mr. Shook aka SHOOK DADDY is when he hid in his Science closet with my Freddie Kreuger mask on and scared the daylights out of Dareon and he ran aroud the classroom screaming. It was so funny, I laughed so hard that day.
Also, when Mr. Shook's friend stopped by the school, I told my class she was his parole officer or whatever I coudl think of at that moment! haha! Good times!
My Mr. Shook memory is when we dropped the meter stick and I got hit in the eye so he let me wear the safety goggles. I wore those things alot. We also dropped eggs from the band stand and they broke. We got egg all over us trying to throw them away. Good times....He still owes his 2nd core a Passover Party!!!
In sixth grade he made this gooey stuff and he let us walk across. He also let us make ice cream. Last year I had him for core 2 and he would always have us laughing in his class. We did this deer game thing outside which was really fun and we also dropped eggs from the band stand which was VERY interesting. But Mr.shook still owes his 2nd core class a pass over party. He left before we could even have one. It was also funny whenever somebody called Mr.Shook shookdaddy he would always get mad at them. It was hilarious. We all still miss Mr. Shook and we always will. He should come back here and stay.
I remember in 6th grade when we had to do this expiriment with pressure and how your body thinks or reacts, and he had put me hin the front corner of the classroom for a demonstration. He told me to press my hand against the wall with all of my might for 30 seconds. After the countdown was over he told me to step away from the wall and put my arm down. All of a sudden my arm flew up over my head after I stepped away and he said "Are you having problems, Elizabeth?" and we all laughed and I sat down. He is one of the best teachers ever and I will always remember him!!! I misses him very much,, come back soon Shook Daddy! :3
He was my favorite teacher! He let us play mudball, it was fun because I had him in first core in 6th and 7th. He was so much fun, it was funny when he got mad though, but he was still the best!
My favorite Mr. Shook memory was on the beta club trip last year. I sat in front of him and he was in the very last seat watching Burn Notice but wouldn't let me watch. Also on the way back he let me wear his jacket because I was cold and wanted to go to sleep. Thanks Mr. Shook! You smell awesome.
Well, in 6th grade I was the geek to come home and work on science projects (my meth lab HA HA) and teaching my grandma about homo and hetero plants. In 7th grade we met the new Shook, he became a HOBO, with his shoes and pants! (: I will always remember the remarks Abby, Kailey and myself would make! And, I'm sure Mr. Shook and Abby remember when I tried to touch Mr. Shook's nose and he jump up, sideways, backwards... he didn't expect it coming! I think it was 6th grade when Kaitlyn Gentry and myself got donuts for having a paper airplane that stayed in the air the longest! Then we got to make ice cream for Mr. Jones and us! It was pretty dang good! I can't wait for Mr. Shook to come back he wont want to leave! (:
Mr. hobo shook. ;) i will never forget... -passover party, with abby stiver -hobo pants. ;) -PNS should be said slowly -sour patch kids -lafaogatas dumpster living. :) -beta club trip -peanut butter in our pocketbooks. ;) -weird drawings of "tree fish" -mr shooks last day at MC... lots of tears for me and Abby! -gifts of shampoo! -hobo SHORTS ;) - and lotsssssss more ;) (found in mr shooks card that i gave him at the end of the year;)
