Each week, I will post questions, thoughts and links for you to read and make comments about. Each student can respond to a minimum of twice weekly. This can be counted as extra credit. Let me know if you have any questions about the current events blog. This can be done during our class time or you can work from home. Read excerpts of this letter from a freed slave to former master from 1865.
If I was the slave I would have really given him a peice of my mind and told him how I hate him. I would never come back or even think about it. The former slave owner seemed that he wanted to help him, but I know and the slave knew he would not do anything for him. And that is what drove him to be independent and have a great life in the north. This was a really cool letter.
