Each week, I will post questions, thoughts and links for you to read and make comments about. Each student can respond to a minimum of twice weekly. This can be counted as extra credit. Let me know if you have any questions about the current events blog. This can be done during our class time or you can work from home. As we explore many different aspects of reading, writing, and current events, I think you will enjoy reading a variety of articles.

What do you think about this story? Honor student is banned from school because of hair color
I would have fight back and pretty much sued the whole school for not letting her do what she feels like doing to her hair, its just wrong how people react to over little things and make it a huge thing, just let her have her hair like that.

I don;t think its right, for her to get banned from school but she should have to wear a hat, the hair do coukd be distracting in the classroom.
