Each week, I will post questions, thoughts and links for you to read and make comments about. Each student can respond to a minimum of twice weekly. This can be counted as extra credit. Let me know if you have any questions about the current events blog. This can be done during our class time or you can work from home. As we explore many different aspects of reading, writing, and current events, I think you will enjoy reading a variety of articles.

Pink haired honor student has been allowed back in school! What took so long is my question.

I think that is good she is able to go to school again.... I dont think she should have ever been kicked out!
I dont agree with what they did. Why did they kicked out a honor student bc her hair was pink. That is not right. I swear schools these days!
I honestly think they should have never made her leave in the first place, she has her rights just like everyone else in this country!!
They should not have kept her out at all. There are several people that dye their hair and nobody says anything about it. She had the right to do it.
i think that was so stupid
I think that people should be allowed to express themselves in anyway that they feel comfortable with.....even if it means dying your hair pink:)
