Each week, I will post questions, thoughts and links for you to read and make comments about. Each student can respond to a minimum of twice weekly. This can be counted as extra credit. Let me know if you have any questions about the current events blog. This can be done during our class time or you can work from home. As we explore many different aspects of reading, writing, and current events, I think you will enjoy reading a variety of articles.
I would actually like to know what happend to the Hunley. I didn't know it had always been on it's side. I wonder why it sank, i think it might have gotten shot down after it sunk the other boat. AND let me say...i was the FIRST to comment on this!!!!!:D who hoo! i'm awesomeeee:)
I remember that my youth group at my church went to see the hunley. I was really little and don't remember it very well. I just remember a bunch of rusty parts in a tank. If I went to see it today, I would probably be more interested.AND let ME say I am the SECOND to commment on this!!!!! ;)

I have not seen the Hunley before but, I think it would be cool to visit! I would like to know how it sunk though. From the picture, it looks nothing like what I pictured!
No, I have not ever seen the Hunley, but would like to one day and actually find out how it sunk! I think it would be really cool to see and learn about the Hunley.

The way people can dig up things like submarines from the bottom of the ocean.

WOW I never knew that the Hunley was on it's side. I wonder y they r moving it.............
I think it's a good thing that they're moving it because it might show why it sank in the first place. I wonder what happened to make it sink anyway.
