Each week, I will post questions, thoughts and links for you to read and make comments about. Each student can respond to a minimum of twice weekly. This can be counted as extra credit. Let me know if you have any questions about the current events blog. This can be done during our class time or you can work from home. As we explore many different aspects of reading, writing, and current events, I think you will enjoy reading a variety of articles.

What do you think about this? I am glad he lost his job!
Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's really low. How could you say something like that and you know how much trouble they are in. And then the job that pays for the bills for you and is number one company in Japan, you go off and talk bad about what has happened.
That's really rude. Japan is definitely going through a lot right now and doesn't need to be made fun of. Especially when their business does 75% of their work their.
That is terrible that he would joke about all the choas going on in Japan! Especially since Aflac does that much business in Japan. I would have fired him as well!
omg..i didn't know that he was the voice of the aflac duck!! But he totally deserved that..you just don't make a joke about that...like really!!!!! That's soo low...he deserved to lose his job!!
Seriosly??????????????? Why would someone say that? That guy is lucky he didn't get the whole country of Japan to come and get him. I mean, the Japanese people have been through a lot. He should not of said that even if he is a comedian.
