Each week, I will post questions, thoughts and links for you to read and make comments about. Each student can respond to a minimum of twice weekly. This can be counted as extra credit. Let me know if you have any questions about the current events blog. This can be done during our class time or you can work from home. As we explore many different aspects of reading, writing, and current events, I think you will enjoy reading a variety of articles.
Andrew Ballentine, and myself, were in two of the most popular Mardi Gras parades. The Endymion, and the Mid-City parades. Endymion is the longest parade in Mardi Gras and is roughly EIGHT MILES LONG. We marched with the Marching Band in these two parades. The Mid-City parade is almost seven miles long. A little shorter than Endymion. We get to go back our Senior year of Hgh School. It was a memory I will keep for a very long time. All of the people cheering for us, the beads, the dabloons, everything. It was Just AMAZING and so much fun.
Mardi Gras is amazing and i really want to do it again. I know that those peoples feet hurt because we walked in two seven mile parades and oure feet started killing us. Although our feet really hurt i know that i wounld love to do it again it was fun and a great experience.
